Aruba is an island located on an island chain that runs along the southernmost tip of Venezuela. Although geographically in South America, this island belongs to the kingdom of the Netherlands. The languages spoken include Dutch, English, Spanish and a combination of all these called Papiamento.
The climate is arid and dry as opposed to most of South America and it's warm throughout the year. Aruba is located just outside the hurricane belt, so there's no danger of having your holiday ruined by untimely weather. Although some months may be better than others, there's good weather all year round which makes it a perfect spot for vacations at any time.
